Imam Al-Mahdi (as) and opponents: The dialectic of complementarity and contradiction

This principle may be easily acceptable as Muslim social philosophers have repeatedly emphasized this very point; however, astute thinkers may distinguish between various groups co-existing within a society, and reach different conclusions regarding each individual community.

Samuel Huntington’s Clash of Civilizations

A new age is dawning, conventionally referred to as the “post-post-bipolar age”, the age of non-distance, the age of revolutions and new ideologies, the age of globalisation, the age of a globalised and westernised modernity.

Who is He (a.t.f.s) waiting for?

After the Death of Prophet (s.w.s), let us first observe the life of his immediate successor, the

first Imam [Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s)] . Though he is an Imam, but he was waiting for his Ummah, his followers. . Hazrat Ali (a.s) is a Leader without followers (Imam-Bi la Ummah). Evidence to this is Nahj-ul-Balagha. These are his own words, his own complaint that he is a

Leader without nation.

Final victory of Islam is very near

Islam interprets history as a constant struggle between right and wrong. This struggle goes on at various levels of society between the forces of right, virtuousness, love of Allah, faith, justice, equality, sacrifice, correct thinking, purity and truth on the one hand, and those of falsehood, egoism, materialism, pragmatism, tyranny, selfishness, injustice, faithlessness, discrimination, corruption, infringement of others rights and wretchedness on the other.

Ziyarat of Nahiya - To the Immortal Heroes of Kerbala

One of the most important sources of the names of these heroes and martyrs is a Ziyarat, taught by the Twelfth Imam (A), known as Ziyarat of Nahiya, which has been copied by all the great authorities in their reliable books. The Ziyarat of Nahiya, as it has come down to us, omits certain names of martyrs, although they are well known for their participation in the holy struggle at Kerbala. This omission may be due to some lapse in memory on the part of the reporters or inaccuracy or inadvertence of copyists.

Who is Mahdi (as)?

Mahdism (Mahdaivat) is the most genuine and fundamental Islamic belief, which even a person with a limited knowledge of Islam will surely accept.

Khutba of Imam A.S. on Arrival

Then I am the remainder [last remnant] from Adam, and the (holy) treasure from Nuh, and the chosen from Ibrahim and the most sincere friend from

The Teachings of Mahdism

During the terrible chaos of the final times, Allah will use a servant having superior morality known as the Mahdi (the guide to the truth), to invite humanity back to the right path. The Mahdi's first task will be to wage a war of ideas within the Islamic world and to turn those Muslims who have moved away from Islam's true essence back to true belief and morality.

THE LAST LUMINARY

The Purified Imams reminded people in several traditions of the significance of the Divine Promise and Government of the Twelfth Imam, and told them that waiting for the Great Saviour is the most valuable deed, and that his followers and devotees are the best and the beloved people.

Imam Mahdi (AS)

He was born on the 15th Shaban 255 A.H. in the city of Samarra. The momenton us and singluar aspects of his birth greatly resembled those under which the Prophet Musa was born. The birth of Hazart Musa had signalled the downfall and extinction of the empire of Pharoah, who had ordered the slaying of all the newly born children of Bani-Israel.

Leadership (Imamat) of Imam Mahdi

He is the last Imam (Khatam ol Osiaa) and like other holy leaders, he has special power and science which came through God. We have lots of stories about his miracles in our books, Just in Esbat ol Hoda which was written by Sheykh Hor Ameli, on volume 7, chapter 33, he brings 170 stories. These miracles are reason for his leadership too. Most of them are about curing sick people, help to poor ones, conduct people, direct people who lost their ways, foretelling future events and so on. These mean that his absent didn't affect on his leadership and he does what he must do. His absents is bad for us and its like when we want use sun, while it is behind clouds.
