The Era of Imam Mahdi vis a vis the new global order as espoused by the West : An understanding and analysis vis a vis dialectics of the the West

We as members of the Global Muslim Ummah, may have to look at different angles as well as from different perspectives if we may arrive at a conclusion. This may not be conclusive for all times, it is our humble effort, so that we may be able to move forward in todays age and leave a legacy for other Muslims to come.

The Imam’s Government System

Jabir narrated from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s) that he said, “Mahdi shall reappear in Mecca at the time of Isha (Night Prayer) and the flag, the dress and the sword of the Messenger of Allah (a.s) shall be with him and he shall be having the signs of effulgence and mode of speech. Thus after he completes the Isha Prayer, he shall raise his voice and say, ‘I would make you remember Almighty Allah while you are in fact in the service of your Lord.

Know Him Before You Die!

A well known tradition narrated both by the Sunnis and the Shias in 92 different books proclaims: Anyone who dies without having recognised the Imam Zamana (aj) (the contemporary Imam), will die the death of ignorance. The word "death" in this hadith is interpreted by the Ulama as the end of this mortal life.

Imam Mahdi (a.s) and Those Who Deny Him

A group has denied the Holy Existence of Imam Mahdi (a.s) while some of the Shias and believers have actually met the Holy Imam (a.s) in person. Here we shall mention about some deniers of Imam Mahdi (a.s):

Title of the article: Mahdism and Messianism utopia: believers attributes at “The Time of Appearance”.

There is an increasing interest in our society today concerning the appearance of the Messiah for Christians and the Mahdi (a.s. ) for Muslims that will bring God kingdom to earth. Many religions and schools of thoughts have prophesized and predicted it.

Belief in the MAHDI and JESUS as an encouragement to resistance

A common factor between Shia Muslims and Christians is that they refer to the Expected One in their respective eschatological systems as ‘the Saviour’, Shia referring to the Mahdi, and Christians to Jesus. The West, especially Europe, is essentially post-Christian, with religion playing little role in everyday affairs. However, at times of crisis, people turn to religion for solace.

The Emergence of Imam Mahdi

Imam Mahdi will not declare his arrival or make himself known publicly. This implies that he will be a man imbued with great spirituality and humility. If he was looking to further a personal agenda based on gaining political power he would make himself known to the whole world.

The COMING of JESUS and GOD’S RIGHTEOUS KINGDOM

This hope first appeared in the Torah and the prophets, which both Christians and Muslims accept. It was usually voiced when Israel’s leaders were corrupt and unjust, and when wars and fears of war spread through the nations. This hope included six main features.
