The aim of this paper is to highlight the dramatic situation of the stateless and internally displaced people in our world today before the appearance of the Mahdi (Pubh) or Saviour and to present some of the values and principles that will have to be implemented in order to avoid this suffering to millions of people that do not have access to food, to medical assistance and not even have a place to die.

HOW SHALL WE PREPARE FOR THE APPEARANCE OF THE FUTURE SAVIOR OF HUMANKIND? |
The history of the twelfth Imam al-Mahdi> shows that the period of his prolonged disappearance had caused many of the followers of this school of Ahl al-Bayt to seek an explanation about the phenomenon of invisible existence (ghayba) of the last Imam. What does it mean to have an Imam in the state of invisible existence, meaning, he can see us while we cannot?

The expenditure on military equipment and armament today in various countries of the world forms the greatest item of their budgets. For example, the armament expenditure of 120 countries of the world in 1970 was twenty percent more than the amount spent on education in those countries; and their health and hygiene budget was only forty percent of their military budget.

The False Claimants Of Deputyship of Imam Mahdi (A.S.) |
In Islamic parlance deputyship means 'representation' and deputy means 'representative and plenipotentiary' . Hence the deputy of Imam (A. S.) means that he is an intermediary between the people and Imam (A.S.). This implies that he conveys the message of Imam (A. S.) to the people, refers the questions and problems of the people to Imam (A.S.) and in turn delivers the replies and solutions given by Imam (A.S.) to the people. Mahdiism and the Theory of Clash of Civilizations |
Our discussion here will capture the comparison between the doctrines of Mahdiism with the view of the Clash of civilizations by Samuel Huntington. At the outset, we deemed it necessary to point out the importance of the doctrine of Mahdiism because of its prospective look for the history, which strengthen the belief of human beings to be hopeful and the belief that guides us to proceed rightly on the straight path of life.

The Mahdi (a.s.) is near |
Throughout the history of mankind, there have been moments that we may define as moments of “hope and expectation”. Currently, we are living one of those moments. International tension increases, but so does the hope and expectation in the appearance of an Avatar or a Messiah

Misunderstood Ahadith and their correct explanations |
The Prophet was not a ruler over land, but a ruler over hearts and minds of people. The ruling over hearts and minds is more emphatic than an absolute king with subjects and sub-ordinates. He ruled over the entire Ummah without the throne, pomp or grandeur. Being the perfect follower of the Prophet, the Mahdi, too did not rule over land like a king, but ruled over the hearts and minds of people.
The false belief of Mahdi and Esa appearing together |
There is another wide spread incorrect belief due to incorrect understanding of ahadith regarding the free distribution of wealth by Imam Mahdi upon his advent. A king, or a rich person, or a business tycoon can only distribute wealth in charity in unprecedented way the people came to expect of Imam Mahdi. We've discussed in detail in the preceding section on the kingship, so we can rule out that possibility.
