Philosophic Conceptualities of the Self in Messianism / Mahdism

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,--any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
.

The solace of the savior and HEZBOLLAH's victory: belief in the MAHDI and JESUS as an encouragement to resistance

A classic example was the effect of 9/11, which led to a massive upsurge in American church attendance. Similarly, in the wake of the events of 1967, with the defeat of the Arab states, Muslims began to abandon secular ideologies and turn to religion as a source of solace and of political resistance.

THE SOLACE OF THE SAVIOUR AND HEZBOLLAH’S VICTORY: BELIEF IN THE MAHDI AND JESUS AS AN ENCOURAGEME

Finally, we come back to the question of tears. Women shed tears as Jesus was taken to be crucified, Luke 23:27, just as Shia shed tears for the Passion of Hussein. However, Jesus warned the women to cry for themselves, since the Judgment on Jerusalem would follow (in AD 70), v30 ‘Then they will begin to say to the mountains, “fall on us”, and to the hills, “cover us.”’.

The Spirit of Law

International law could fulfill this role. But is has long been devoid or any real authority, as only stipulating some minimum requirements for diplomatic relations and setting formal standards for the redaction of treatises; the treatises themselves being external and provisory agreements expressing a fragile and temporary compromise between antagonistic interests. As John Dryden wrote: “Such subtle covenants shall be made, till peace itself is war in masquerade.”

"His appearance is inevitable and sure”

The Mahdi (a.s.) is Near

Throughout the history of mankind, there have been moments that we may define as moments of “hope and expectation”. Currently, we are living one of those moments. International tension increases, but so does the hope and expectation in the appearance of an Avatar or a Messiah *.

The Holders of Authority and Legitimacy in Mahdism Doctrine

Supported by God and instructed divinely prophets affirmed and delivered from the beginning of creation a continuous message. They presented clear concept of God, His attributes, His creation and the unseen. They delivered the reason of creation, rewards and punishments to humanity for obeying or disobeying God. However, most important for the purpose of my thesis, they showed humanity how to run their societies according to His testament. That is, clear instructions and laws that, when applied correctly and honestly, will result in an ideal society.

The Four Special Deputies

Due to the severe restrictions imposed by the reigning Caliph, Imam Mahdi (a.s.) was forced to conceal himself from the eyes of the people. In the initial stages of the minor occultation, some very special and selected people among the Shias had the permission to meet their master whenever the need arose.

The companions of Imam Mahdi

The companions of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.) in the light of Quran and traditions
All the sects of Islam in general, and in particular, the Shiah are steadfast in their belief, that prior to the advent of the Day of Judgement (Qiyamat), injustice and inequality will be rife in the earth. In such a condition, Allah, through His Proof (Hujjat) will fill the earth with justice and equality, as it will be filled with injustice and oppression.
