Imam Al-Mahdi (as) and opponents: The dialectic of complementarity and contradiction
This principle may be easily acceptable as Muslim social philosophers have repeatedly emphasized this very point; however, astute thinkers may distinguish between various groups co-existing within a society, and reach different conclusions regarding each individual community.

COMPARATIVE VIEWS ON MAHDISM The Divine vs The Human
Secondly, unless man returns to the pristine Pathway of Allah, he will find himself rudderless in a sea of disaster, in grave danger of not recognising the Chosen One, Imam Mahdi (a.s.), Imam of the Age, who is to lead mankind and establish justice and peace upon the Earth.

The solace of the savior and HEZBOLLAH's victory: belief in the MAHDI and JESUS as an encouragement to resistance
Thus, the Islamic reaction to oppression involves resistance – i.e. defensive jihad. Indeed, Surah Al-Anfal 8:39 commands that Muslims ‘fight them until persecution is no more’. In different ages, the reality of political oppression has caused some Shia to back illegitimate candidates for the title of Mahdi:

Belial, Antichrist, and Dajjal: Personification of Lawlessness in Abrahamic Eschatology; Signs to the Rightly Guided World
The destiny of mankind in the eschatological philosophy shared by the Abrahamic traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is ordained to travail through apocalyptic tribulations and violent end of one existence to usher in a new one bereft of suffering and immorality adorned by peace and justice.

Philosophic Conceptualities of the Self in Messianism / Mahdism
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,--any who believe in God and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. .

The political dimension of religion in shiism
According to Muslim religion, the religious rule stands for the vital duty to aspire to Good and to avoid Evil, aspect which involves the social organization and the cooperation between people in order to accomplish its future tasks.

Humanitarian rights in the time of appearance of the Mahdi (Pbuh) or world promised Saviour
The aim of this paper is to highlight the dramatic situation of the stateless and internally displaced people in our world today before the appearance of the Mahdi (Pubh) or Saviour and to present some of the values and principles that will have to be implemented in order to avoid this suffering to millions of people that do not have access to food, to medical assistance and not even have a place to die.

The Era of Imam Mahdi vis a vis the new global order as espoused by the West : An understanding and analysis vis a vis dialectics of the the West
We as members of the Global Muslim Ummah, may have to look at different angles as well as from different perspectives if we may arrive at a conclusion. This may not be conclusive for all times, it is our humble effort, so that we may be able to move forward in todays age and leave a legacy for other Muslims to come.

Use of Natural Resources and Mahdism Doctrine (Some micro foundations
However, the viewpoint of the economists who worked with reference to religion guides one to realize that there might exist a systematic relationship between religiosity and use of natural resources.

Through a Glass Darkly: A Comparison of Self-Proclaimed “Mahdist” States throughout History to the Theory of the (True) Mahdist State Yet to Come
My thesis is that previous historical examples of Muslim leaders who declared themselves mahdis--as imperfect , impetuous and immature as they may have been--can nonetheless be instructive for anyone today studying Islamic notions of the future Mahdist state.

Universality of the Mahdi’s Mission
Islam, as a universal faith, gives mankind hope. Abjuring false Gods and returning to the One True Creator should remove all afflictions from man’s life. Unlike what the Judaic faith claims that God has created and then abandoned mankind..

HOW SHALL WE PREPARE FOR THE APPEARANCE OF THE FUTURE SAVIOR OF HUMANKIND?
The history of the twelfth Imam al-Mahdi> shows that the period of his prolonged disappearance had caused many of the followers of this school of Ahl al-Bayt to seek an explanation about the phenomenon of invisible existence (ghayba) of the last Imam. What does it mean to have an Imam in the state of invisible existence, meaning, he can see us while we cannot?

Can science and the fast evolving human intellectual capabilities help in understanding Mahdism Doctrine?
“…if we take into account the international community, Islam believes in the perfection of human community. For, Islam believes that communities, civilizations and cultures are moving towards oneness and unification and finally merge with each other and the future of human communities is the international single perfect community.”

The solace of the savior and HEZBOLLAH's victory: belief in the MAHDI and JESUS as an encouragement to resistance
A classic example was the effect of 9/11, which led to a massive upsurge in American church attendance. Similarly, in the wake of the events of 1967, with the defeat of the Arab states, Muslims began to abandon secular ideologies and turn to religion as a source of solace and of political resistance.

Imam Al-Mahdi (as) and opponents: The dialectic of complementarity and contradiction
The conflict between good and evil is established in the majority of sacred books, albeit with dissimilar references and terms. The Qur\'an has emphasized the existence of this distinction as well as the fight in the story of Adam\'s sons after the first division took place between them when Abel,

Studies in Divine Economics:Issues of Measuring Religiosity
The Muslim world stretches from Morocco to Malaysia. More than 50 countries in three continents are Muslim countries. Muslim countries have more than one billion population. Mostly Muslim countries are classified as low income, low middle income and middle income countries.

Sunni Documentation on Imam al-Mahdi (AS)
Moreover, Insha Allah in the next article, I will give a list of Sunni scholars who believe that Imam al-Mahdi (AS) is son of Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS), and is alive and went into occultation. In that article will also discuss the special specifications of Imam al-Mahdi which are the points of disagreement between the Shia and the Sunni.

Spiritual Dimensions of Mahdism in the Modern Age
Muslims throughout the world eagerly await the arrival of Imam Mahdi, this is because Imam Mahdi will restore justice and equality in the world, and help to unite the Muslims.  It is therefore not surprising, that many Muslims are perhaps a little impatient with regard to the emergence of Imam Mahdi.

Samuel Huntington’s Clash of Civilizations
A new age is dawning, conventionally referred to as the “post-post-bipolar age”, the age of non-distance, the age of revolutions and new ideologies, the age of globalisation, the age of a globalised and westernised modernity.

Reappearance of the Master of the Time
The rationale for the supporters of the first view is based on different traditions. Among them, there is a tradition from Imam Sadiq (A.S.) , which is as follows: “…In fact, it is the time about which Allah the Almighty says, ‘They ask you about the hour - when will it occur? Say, The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none but He shall manifest it at its time….’(7:187)”1 Some traditions have forbidden even simply talking about al-Mahdi (A.S.) and have

Who is He (a.t.f.s) waiting for?
After the Death of Prophet (s.w.s), let us first observe the life of his immediate successor, the first Imam [Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s)] . Though he is an Imam, but he was waiting for his Ummah, his followers. . Hazrat Ali (a.s) is a Leader without followers (Imam-Bi la Ummah). Evidence to this is Nahj-ul-Balagha. These are his own words, his own complaint that he is a Leader without nation.

Necessity of the Existence of Imam al-Mahdi (AS)
This article addresses the necessity of the existence of the Representative of Allah on the earth at any time. The opponents of Shia protest that although Shia consider the Imam necessary in order to expound the injunctions and verities of religion and to guide the people, the occultation of the Imam is the negation of this very purpose, for an Imam in occultation who cannot be reached by mankind cannot be in any way beneficial or effective.

The advent of IMAM AL-MAHDI (a-s), the natural course for humanity
A theory about the advent of Imam Al-Mahdi (a-s) based on Islamic teachings and beliefs. In the second part we will study who this Holy Imam (a-s) is, his life and lineage the sub title of the second part will be: The veracious leader of the true Islam. And each part will contain several divisions. As always I thank my readers and ask that they may forgive me of any errors in subject matter or grammatical. In the hope that ALLAH (swt) will be satisfied with the small effort of this study a

The COMING of JESUS and GOD’S RIGHTEOUS KINGDOM
This hope first appeared in the Torah and the prophets, which both Christians and Muslims accept.  It was usually voiced when Israel’s leaders were corrupt and unjust, and when wars and fears of war spread through the nations.  This hope included six main features.

The End of Darkness
The expenditure on military equipment and armament today in various countries of the world forms the greatest item of their budgets. For example, the armament expenditure of 120 countries of the world in 1970 was twenty percent more than the amount spent on education in those countries; and their health and hygiene budget was only forty percent of their military budget.

The Mahdism Utopia
The faith in the appearance of the Mahdi (AS) is not merely a source of comfort and solace, it is rather a source of strength and resourcefulness, because it is faith in the removal of injustice and tyranny even if it darkens the entire world and is an inexhaustible source of strength and resistance, as it is a ray of hope which removes despair from the human spirit by keeping the flame of hope lit in gloomy times when injustice assumes monstrous dimensions.

The Imam’s Government System
Jabir narrated from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s) that he said, “Mahdi shall reappear in Mecca at the time of Isha (Night Prayer) and the flag, the dress and the sword of the Messenger of Allah (a.s) shall be with him and he shall be having the signs of effulgence and mode of speech. Thus after he completes the Isha Prayer, he shall raise his voice and say, ‘I would make you remember Almighty Allah while you are in fact in the service of your Lord.

The Iranian Islamism, a Model towards Stability in the Muslim World
Muslims turn their faces towards the Islamic sources to discover the general principles of a good government and to redefine concepts of social and economic justice. In this part of the world nationalism was not part of the solution as Islam does not recognize other but the Muslim citizenship

The Major Occultation and Our Responsibilities
During the major occultation, the apparent and general possibility of a direct meeting with Imam-e-Zamana (a.t.f.s.) came to an end, but the fulfillment of Islamic obligations and duties continued. Just as, after the demise of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), prophethood was terminated, but the medium of acquiring the religious laws viz. the Holy Quran and the Ahle-

HOW SHALL WE PREPARE FOR THE APPEARANCE OF THE FUTURE SAVIOR OF HUMANKIND?
“Even if there remains only a day in the life of this earth, God will prolong it for His emissary to appear so that the earth shall be filled with justice and equity as it is filled with injustice and tyranny.” This is the prophecy that the Prophet Muhammad left for his followers so that they would prepare themselves for the launching of that transformation of the world to the ideal that God has promised humanity.

MAHDISM IN QURANIC EXEGESIS: Imamate Order and Challenges of Globalization
We will trace it both from etymological and terminological aspect and then see their interpretation pertinent to the underlying concept. Afterward, we will discuss the concept of Mahdism, characters, and time of emergence. Moreover, we will also expose the concept of justice which becomes the salient features of al-mahdi which will emerge in the midst of endless conflict of humanity.

What is the Benefit of Having the 12th Imam in Occultation
Imam is a Link Between the Material and the Spiritual World In accord with all that we have said previously and the proofs that were derived from the writings of Muslim scholars, including the hadith-reports that spoke about the necessity of the Imamate, the existence of the Imam as a perfect and unique embodiment of humanity serves as a link between the material and the spiritual world.

The False Claimants Of Deputyship of Imam Mahdi (A.S.)
In Islamic parlance deputyship means 'representation' and deputy means 'representative and plenipotentiary' . Hence the deputy of Imam (A. S.) means that he is an intermediary between the people and Imam (A.S.). This implies that he conveys the message of Imam (A. S.) to the people, refers the questions and problems of the people to Imam (A.S.) and in turn delivers the replies and solutions given by Imam (A.S.) to the people. He is known as 'the Deputy of Imam (A.S.)

A FEW QUESTIONS TO VALI-E-ASR (A.T.F.S.)
On the commands of Allah, Hazrat Vali-e-Asr is in occultation right from the commencement of his Imamat. Hence as opposed to his forefathers (a.s.), Imam's meetings with his Shias have been few and far between. By and large, the problems of the people have been presented before his esteemed self in the form of letters and "Areeza" ("Areeza" is a letter of requests written by the Shias to the Imam of their time).

Hadith of Imam Mahdi(a.s)
( Narrations from the twelveth Imam ( peace be upon him ) )Benefitting from me in my absence is as benefitting from the sun in itsdisappearance behind the clouds and certainly I am security - grantor for thepeople of earth as stars are security - grantors for the people of sky .(Bahar_ol_Anvar , Vol.53 , P.181)

IMAM Al - MAHDI (AS) & Our Duty during his Absence
Imam al-Mahdi (a.s) was born on the 15th Sha'ban 255 A.H. in Samarra, Iraq. He became the Imam when his father was Martyred in 260 A.H. Imam al-Mahdi (a.s) was only 5 years old when he went into ghaibat' (concealment). The Imam's ghaibat was divided into two periods: Ghaibat-us-Sughra and Ghaibat-ul-Kubra.

Glimpses of AlMahdi a.s.
This is the time to spread the name and fill the whole world with the remembrance of Hazrat (a.s.) to invite the people towards his intellectual revolution to create the conditions favourable for his reappearance so that he (a.s.) may fill the earth with the sweet scent of his reappearance and the buds of, belief may bloom in the garden of his universal kingdom. Justice and knowledge may become widespread.

Stereotyping of Arabs and Muslims in the Western Mass Media: An Obstacle to the Movement of al-Imam al-Mahdi that Must be Confronted
To understand what it happening and how it is will be an obstacle to Imam al-Mahdi\'s movement, it is beneficial to begin with a review of Jack G. Shaheen\'s book, Reel Bad Arabs.

Government which paves the way for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AF)
This paper presents a study on the concept how we could achieve the preferred political, social and cultural conditions to establish a fair and just global government in preparation for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (af).

Final victory of Islam is very near
Islam interprets history as a constant struggle between right and wrong. This struggle goes on at various levels of society between the forces of right, virtuousness, love of Allah, faith, justice, equality, sacrifice, correct thinking, purity and truth on the one hand, and those of falsehood, egoism, materialism, pragmatism, tyranny, selfishness, injustice, faithlessness, discrimination, corruption, infringement of others rights and wretchedness on the other.

Title of the article: Mahdism and Messianism utopia: believers attributes at “The Time of Appearanc
The strong believe of the Shi´a religious community in the appearance of the Mahdi (a.s.) has propitiated hope and inspiration to them to accept the responsibility of taking the necessary steps to accomplish all changes needed before his appearance.

Duties of Shias towards Imam-e-Zamana (A.S.)
A momin should always mention Imam (A.S.) with the best of the titles. For example, Hujjat, Qaem, Mahdi, Sahibul Amr and Sahibuz-Zaman etc. He should refrain from uttering his actual name, which is the name of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.): (M - H - M - D). There are varying opinions among the scholars, as regards the pronouncing of the name of Imam (A.S.).

THE SOLACE OF THE SAVIOUR AND HEZBOLLAH’S VICTORY: BELIEF IN THE MAHDI AND JESUS AS AN ENCOURAGEME
Finally, we come back to the question of tears. Women shed tears as Jesus was taken to be crucified, Luke 23:27, just as Shia shed tears for the Passion of Hussein. However, Jesus warned the women to cry for themselves, since the Judgment on Jerusalem would follow (in AD 70), v30 ‘Then they will begin to say to the mountains, “fall on us”, and to the hills, “cover us.”’.

Know Him Before You Die!
A well known tradition narrated both by the Sunnis and the Shias in 92 different books proclaims: Anyone who dies without having recognised the Imam Zamana (aj) (the contemporary Imam), will die the death of ignorance. The word "death" in this hadith is interpreted by the Ulama as the end of this mortal life.

Issues Concerning the Life of the Twelfth Holy Imam (A.S.)
Is the Twelfth Imam married and if so does he have children? Where is his place of residence? What does he wear and what does he subsist on? What is the sense in praying for his wellbeing?

Sadaqah For the Safety of Imam-e-Zamana (a.t.f.s.)
Sadaqah is derived from the word Sadq i.e. to be righteous, truthful, alms-giving. We will focus our attention on its third meaning i.e. alms-giving and discuss about it. While going through the pages of history - which are full of incidents about the benefits of giving alms - one incident stands apart.

Why pray for Hazrat Vali - Asr
Whenever supplications are made for the health and well-being of Hazrat Mahdi (A. S.) or charity is paid on his behalf then some people raise the question. 'It is because of his majestic self that the whole world is safe and secure, only because of his blissful presence this universe is thriving, then what does praying for him imply'? This whole Universe, earth and skies survive because of him, then why to give charity on his behalf? Let us examine this question in the following paragraphs.

SEEKING MEDIATION OF IMAM MAHDI.
Thus Quran and traditions alike, exhort the Muslims to secure some arbitrator in order to gain proximity with Allah, and achieve eternal deliverance. Why seek mediation of Imam Mahdi (a.t.f.s.)? Any Shia is bound to think, 'What is the rationale for us to seek mediation of our Imam?' There are several facets to this question.

THE IDEA of an expected deliverer
Here “religious thought” means that form of thought which concerned with any of the problems of a religious nature within a particular religion (Tabatabai, 2001: 89). Of course, the concept of Mahdiism, includes at religious thought. Undoubtedly, the religious thought, like Mahdiism, have the trustworthy sources.
